With haunting music by Dougie MacLean, this brief, emotionally-charged video, by award-winning documentary filmmaker Nancy Rigg, is a visual anthem to swiftwater rescue. It captures not only the essence of the Higgins and Langley Memorial Awards in Swiftwater Rescue, for which it was produced, but also graphically illustrates the reasons that every agency tasked with flood or swiftwater response needs to be "ready" for the storm.
